What's Muungano?
In April 26, 1964, the African islands of Zanzibar united with mainland Tanganyika to form The United Republic of Tanzania. This unification is known as Muungano.
Event Details:
This year’s Muungano Unity Day celebration will be to raise $40,000 for a project to increase access to water in Tanzania. Please bring extra cash for our raffles, auction, and vendor shopping.
Event includes workshops, Tanzanian food, live African music, poetry, auction, raffle, and much more.
